One of the highlights from this week was our special Science Assembly on Wednesday. During this high-energy show, students gained a deeper appreciation for how science works. The Fun Science Show truely sparked curiosity and left everyone excited and eager to learn more!

We had an incredible experience with the              Fun Educational Science Assembly (Starlab)! From start to finish, it was everything we hoped for and more. The students were very engaged — laughing, learning, and having a blast the entire time.

Ken was wonderfully flexible with our schedule, which made planning so much easier on our end. They worked around our school day and were super accommodating, even when we had last-minute changes.

On top of all that, it was a very affordable option for our school — especially for the quality of the program and the energy they brought. It’s hard to find something this educational, entertaining, and budget-friendly, and we’re so glad we did.

We can’t recommend Fun Educational Science Assemblies highly enough! Our students are still talking about it, and we’re already looking forward to having them back in the future.

We had a great turnout for my school's first Science Night. The kids and parents all had so much fun! The activities were engaging and educational and families had a blast testing out all 10 stations. There was even a science facts station and a hands-on "guess the animal bone" station. Ken was so efficient and made the entire process extremely easy. Ken has the entire process down and knows what the kids will enjoy most. I highly recommend him and look forward to seeing some of the other services (assemblies, live show, etc.) that he offers as well. 04/12/23

We had Ken come out for our TK-5th school science night. He brought all the supplies for table experiments and did a live science show. He showed up early to set everything up, was easy to communicate with, and had some great ideas! He has to be one of the easiest people to deal with in such a long time.  No strings attached, he did exactly what he said he would do, and above and beyond.  One of the best vendors ever! The kids were very engaged and so much fun was had! We plan on having Ken return every year!

Testimonials

Thank you again for coming out! Our students and teachers really enjoyed your Science Assembly. Some teachers told our principal it was the best assembly we have had!

Ken did such an amazing job running two assemblies back to back. He communicated well leading up to his appearance. The day of, he showed up several hours early to set-up. Our often unruly students were very engaged in his performance as Ken mixed in lots of science experiments and concepts while mixing in some humorous bits. Overall, I would highly recommend Ken to any school looking for a fun, educational assembly!

“I worked with Ken to place a science night event at my daughter’s elementary school, it was seamless! Ken brought a variety of experiments for the kids to do and set up the whole event! He was so patient and quick to respond to my million questions and helped us give our school a great event night! We will definitely use him again next year! Thank you Ken!”

Thank you again!

Ken's science show was fantastic! His pacing and the variety of experiments kept the students, ranging from 3rd to 8th grade, consistently engaged and enthralled. He involved many student volunteers, and he began each experiment with brief call-and-response questions to pique their interest, personal connection, and background knowledge. We were all sad when the show was over! (05/29/24)

Ken Zschach brought his science night to our school and it was a huge hit! He had 14 different interactive experiments set up on tables that students absolutely loved, everything from creating their own circuit to turn on a light to shooting a rocket into the air. Kids were even able to purchase real estate on the moon. The most exciting part was the show that Ken put on lighting tea bag papers that flew into the air, making people's hair stand on end with electricity, and letting students hold bubbles filled with fog from dry ice. There were so many exciting moments that all of our students and families are still talking about. We can't wait to have Ken back again next year! (01/26/22)

Our students had an amazing experience with the Star Lab! The presentation was engaging, interactive, and truly brought science to life in a unique way. Students were excited to explore the stars and were in awe of everything they saw inside the dome. The entire process from scheduling to the day of the assembly was smooth, organized, and easy. We highly recommend this program to any school looking to provide an enriching and memorable science experience for their students.”

"Science Night at John Reed is a truly amazing learning experience for our students. It provides them with the opportunity to explore science in a fun, hands-on way through engaging activities that spark curiosity and excitement. Students are not just observers; they actively participate, ask questions, and collaborate with peers as they learn. One of the highlights of the evening is the science show, where students have the chance to become volunteers and take part in live experiments. This experience builds confidence, encourages curiosity, and helps students see science as exciting and accessible. Science Night brings learning to life and creates meaningful memories that inspire a love of science in our John Reed students."

"The students of UELF were inspired to explore science because of Ken's demonstration of how science kindles curiosity about the world around you. My teachers noted how the phenomena support their science inquiry units and pushed the students to ask more questions when they got back into class. Ken's Science Assembly is such an asset to our Rohnert Park Community!"

- Christina Lunde, UELF Principal (12/09/24)

Science Night consistently has the highest attendance. The adults are just as excited about the event as the students. Ken's experiments are engaging, accessible to the students and the science principles are explained. Ken's Science Show is a highlight of the event and leaves the students asking questions and talking for days. Science Night is a great way to help students get excited and think about science. The Star Lab has been an invaluable educational tool for us over the years.

The students get so much more  by seeing and identifying constellations as if they were outside which is more effective than sitting at a desk and listening to a lecture. If that is true, and I believe wholeheartedly that it is, then the Star Lab is an excellent way to provide that sort of education! Thank you for a wonderful experience! 02/28/22
